Description
LAU is A Lebanese University who has passed an accreditation with an American agency (NEASC) and has a large experience in that. LAU would put this experience in the service of the consortium. Besides LAU is a university fully under the American system and therefore completes the spectrum of systems represented in the consortium of TLQAA.

Role in Project
More specifically, it is agreed that LAU will perform the following tasks within the project:
Workpackage 1: Defining the Lebanese Quality Assurance Model
- Participate and discuss the QA model in the roundtable
Workpackage 2: Standards and Procedures
- Participate in surveying the existing standards and procedures
- Participate to the definition of the first proposal of standards and procedures with private university view
- Participate to the roundtable
- Participate in finalizing the standards and procedures to be adopted
Workpackage 3: Selecting and Training the Lebanese Experts
- Nominate expert candidates
- Prepare the training materials
- Attend the training sessions
- Participate to the study tour
Workpackage 4: Pilot Evaluation
- Participate to the selection of the Universities
- Attend the training on internal reporting
