Description
USF is involved in tertiary eaducation within programmes covering three Faculties.
A) Public Health: On Public Health we are dedicated to strengthening the role of public health by improving education and training of public health professionals for both practice and research.
B) Pedagogy – The Process of Teaching: On Pedagogy we provide an introduction to the professional field of teaching and school development in theory and practice. Our students learn about the structure, tasks and the function of a school in a changing society. Studies in School Pedagogy convey the basic knowledge necessary for understanding the functions of the various elements of teaching. Students learn how to plan, assess and analyze teaching didactically and methodically.
C) Management & Business: Our Management and Business Faculty recognize that the rapidly changing landscape would require young leaders. We are committed to creating such leaders through our innovative programmes.

Role in Project
USF will bring to the project the expectation of a dynamic University in terms of continuous improvement and development. USF will provide interesting input to the definition of the standards and procedures necessary to the quality assurance in Lebanon. USF will also participate actively to the training of experts as well as to the pilot evaluation planned in the project.
