Description

Founded in 1983 as a Computer and Educational College, the C&E College, and authorized to become a Higher Education Private Institution in 2000, the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education granted the authorization to transform the Institute to the American University of Culture and Education (AUCE) in June 2009.
AUCE has three faculties:
- Faculty of Fine Arts (BA),
- Faculty of Arts (BA) and Science (BS and MS),
- Faculty of Business Administration (BBA and MBA).
Determined to continue its tradition of striving for excellence and distinction, AUCE started an Institutional Quality Assurance Process. Today, AUCE is accredited since April 2010 by The British Accreditation Council (BAC), and we are developping a Quality Improvement program with our seven Regional Study Centers.

Role in Project
AUCE is in the process of further developing its internal quality assurance processes and considers quality assurance as priority in its development. AUCE brings its know-how in this area to the consortium. This know-how also covers the details of the Lebanese Higher Education system. AUCE will actively participate to the dialog leading to the standards and procedures to be adopted. AUCE will spend significant efforts in the parts related to the training of experts and in the pilot evaluation. Finally, AUCE will take part in developing the IT infrastructure.
